We are seeking a positively enthusiastic and dynamic School Secretary to undertake a diverse range of administration tasks within our busy school office.
You are the welcoming face of the school community. You will work as part of a collaborative team providing services to parents, students, school staff and the wider school community.
Duties include:
- telephone and email management;
- administration of filing and online management systems (eMinerva);
- assisting School Leadership with various administration tasks;
- assisting with organisation of school events and activities;
- assisting with creating school documents, letters; and
- first aid duties (First Aid certificate required).
You will have:
- at least two years administration experience,
- sound Microsoft Office 365 skills,
- display proven communication and interpersonal skills, and
- ability to multi-task.

To be successful in this role you will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- provide evidence of full COVID vaccination as directed by the Qld Chief Health Officer
Estimated start date: Commencing 20 June 2022
Position tenure: Fixed Term
Weeks worked: School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)
Tenure duration (where Fixed Term): to 2 Dec 2022
Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 3 days per week - Mon to Wed (21 hours per week)
Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 4 - $32.23 per hour
Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
