St Mary’s is an outstanding two form entry Catholic primary school in the centre of Wimbledon. We are looking for highly motivated, innovative and hardworking support staff to join our dedicated and successful team from September 2019.  This is a one year, fixed term post in the first instance but there may be the potential to extend, for the right candidate. 

 

Status:   School Support Staff  Responsibility: Working with pupils from Nursery to Year 6 in classes, groups and on a 1:1 basis, as required Pay Scale Point: ME4 Point 11 Work Hours: 30 hrs per week – 08:30 – 15:30 daily – Term time only Term:   Fixed term contract from September 2019 – July 2020 (with potential to extend) Annual Salary:  Starting at £19,897 pro rata (This would be for a full time equivalent post) 

 

The successful candidate must have experience of working in a primary school. Experience in working of primary school children in all age groups would be an advantage. You will be expected to play an important role in improving the achievement of pupils. You may, on occasion, also be asked to provide cover for midday meal supervisors. Please note that in this post you will be expected to be open to flexible working; in whole class, small group and 1:1 situations. Knowledge of Read, Write, Inc Phonics, though not essential, would be beneficial.
