We wish to appoint a highly motivated caring and committed person to work in our friendly and supportive schools. The person we are looking for should be flexible, self-motivated and able to use their own initiative, taking pride in their work.

The successful candidate must have good general maintenance skills and knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and procedures. An ability to use IT to report and communicate is required.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Site safety and security
  • Cleaning, including cleaning at height
  • Supervision of contractors
  • Emergency and maintenance repairs
  • Day to day cleaning in addition to the monitoring of cleaning contractors.
  • Portering, which may include heavy lifting
  • Monitoring the use of the school site by other people
  • Gardening
  • Lettings in addition to working hours
