We are already working with over 2000 schools, 1.8 million learners and 35,000 teachers and ensuring that security of our data, products and systems is of the utmost importance

About the Role

Working as a School Success Executive, you will proactively support our schools to help them get maximum impact from Sparx Maths Homework and maximum learning for their students. You will see schools through from their training to their renewal, providing an excellent end-to-end customer journey. You will act as a touchpoint between our internal teams and school stakeholders, developing trusted customer relationships to ensure you deeply understand their experience and can advocate for them within the company. You will work to continuously improve the customers’ product understanding and usage, creating Sparx advocates to build a user community and aid the retention and expansion of our customer base.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide proactive support and advice to schools, using data to discover opportunities to improve customers’ usage and to measure the efficacy of your interventions.
  • Confidently train school and department leaders to use Sparx Homework, pointing out the key features and benefits as it pertains to their school.
  • Develop and maintain successful, sustainable relationships with key stakeholders in our schools such and Heads of Department, Headteachers, and School Group Leaders.
  • Effectively handle escalated customer queries that arise from first-line support and direct school interactions.
  • Work closely with the International, Product, Insights and Engineering teams to support the effective and smooth journey of new customers from prospect to onboarding to ongoing support.
  • Communicate customer feedback, insights and common training needs to internal teams to ensure we develop an exceptional product and service that is centred around our schools.
  • Keep up to date with what’s going on in Sparx, in our schools, and with market and education trends in general.
  • Continuously reflect on and review your training delivery, customer communication and processes to improve, scale and optimise our support offering.

About Sparx Learning

In these challenging times, education is going through a transformation. Sparx is at the forefront of that change, as a socially focused learning technology company, with the goal to improve numeracy and life outcomes for more than 5 million learners globally by 2030.

Founded in 2010 Sparx has worked closely with schools to research the way that maths is taught and learnt. It now offers schools, teachers, learners and parents a suite of innovative solutions that support personalised maths learning in the classroom and at home.

Supported by a private Family Office (Oxygen House) Sparx has had over £50m invested since the outset, £20m of which was committed in the recent few years.

Sparx Learning encompasses: Sparx Maths, Sparx Maths Homework, HegartyMaths and Numerise, which together reach over 1.8 million learners in over 2,000 schools in the UK and across 20 countries. Over 50% of secondary schools in England use one of the Sparx products.

  • Sparx Maths is an award-winning approach to maths for 11-16 year olds, underpinned by an adaptive technology platform.
  • HegartyMaths is an online platform providing students with access to world-class teaching coupled with bespoke and adaptive maths assessment.
  • Numerise is a personalised home-learning maths product for 10 to 16 year olds. It draws on a bank of over 38,000 handwritten questions and 9,000 video tutorials to engage, motivate and support learners for their GCSEs and Key Stage 3.

We’re looking for people with a real passion for education and a belief in the power of technology to improve it. People who want a challenge; people who want to make a difference.
