LOCAL candidates only: Primary Classroom Teacher - short term cover

We are looking to recruit successful Classroom teacher with professional experience in inquiry-based learning.

Our ideal candidates will have previous teaching experience in an IB PYP school.

Please note that a Primary teacher qualification for the respective grades is required; language studies without educational training, TEFL /CELTA certificates for adult teaching or degrees in translating cannot be considered.

Candidates will be expected to have a valid teaching certification (BA in Primary Education or its equivalent) and a valid work permit in Austria

- cover contract for a colleague on medical leave

-start date 23rd February until 26th June 2026

In principle, teachers at the VIS Primary School are expected to be flexible and might be timetabled to teach all Grades, most likely Grade 4
