Job overview

Holme Grange is a traditional co-educational independent school for ages 3-16. Our Science labs and the Art rooms are extremely well equipped due to the considerable investment the school has put into these areas. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Science and Art Technician who can join our team of dedicated staff to help with the maintenance, support and preparation of this equipment. The successful candidate will work in conjunction with the Head of Science and Head of Art to ensure that the equipment in the 3 modern science labs and the 2 art rooms is correctly maintained and supported, the post-holder will also be expected to assist the Science and Art staff with the practical preparation of lessons and tidying of equipment after lessons.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in pastoral care and will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, team-working, organisational, and administrative skills. These characteristics will be essential as they will be joining a team of innovative and forward thinking staff all of whom set high standards. Applicants must be prepared to contribute fully to the life of the School. Holme Grange has its own salary scale.
