We are looking to appoint a Technician to our Science and Design and Technology Departments to work alongside the current teams. This is a dual role and the successful applicant would be responsible for providing practical and administrative support for the teaching of the three Sciences and Design Technology. 

The role is for 30 hours per week, term-time only, plus 3 admin days. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C (or equivalent) including a subject relevant to the requirements of the post, together with 2 years of practical experience in an appropriate work area. A flexible approach to work would be an advantage, as would familiarity with the safe and proper use of specialist equipment for which the role will be responsible. Salary is according to Milton Abbey’s own scale.
