Science (Biology) Technician / Sheffield / ASAP - Perm
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Science Technician, specialising in Biology to work within one of our partnered schools in Sheffield for the remainder of the academic year on a direct contract with the school. The position is full time, during school hours and the post is an immediate start for the right candidate.
The school are a large academy in South Sheffield, part of a larger Academy trust and with a fantastic reputation across the county.
The desired Science Technician will be working within a large, busy department, supporting Biology lessons. The desired Technician must have experience of working within Secondary Science and be comfortable in COSHH, Health and Safety and have a good understanding of biological resources, anatomy, and the preparation and calibration of Scientific equipment
To be considered for the position of Science Technician you must:
Have experience supporting within a Science department within a Secondary School.
Have a good understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety.
Have a good understanding of scientific equipment, calibration, and chemical compounds.
