Salary: APTC Scale 3 points 5-6 £19,312 to £19,698
Actual salary paid: £12,162 to £12,405
27 hours per week - term time plus 3 inset days
We are looking to appoint a Chemistry/science technician to provide an efficient and effective support for the science department. Hopefully, the successful candidate would be able to start at the beginning of January 2021 (6 January).
Duties include; preparing solutions/reagents, setting up demonstrations, organising equipment and chemicals for lessons, ensuring equipment and laboratories are tidy and safe. Awareness of Health and Safety regulations eg COSHH and ability to undertake routine maintenance of equipment.
