Sparx Science is our newest system, it is evolving and breaking new ground in science education. We are looking for a creative educator that wants to design our unique and engaging content that will directly impact the learning journey of hundreds and thousands of students whilst supporting teachers in getting the very most out of them.

We want you to bring your passion for education, your creativity and a commitment to make a difference and we will be with you every step of the way!

What you’ll do

  • Create high-quality content informed by the latest educational research and science pedagogy.
  • Review and quality assure content produced for Sparx Science to maximise its impact for learners.
  • Innovate new and improved methods of content delivery alongside the science team to maximise the impact and quality of learning in Sparx Science.
  • Refine and improve our content using your experience, our data and customer feedback to ensure it delivers impact and promotes deep thinking.
  • Continually strive for best practice to increase the quality of content or efficiency of creation.

What you need

  • Deep understanding of secondary science education and the national curriculum within England, including science teaching and/or tutoring experience.
  • Experience creating resources and materials to support scientific learning or assessment
  • Demonstrable experience of multitasking, prioritising your workload and meeting deadlines across multiple projects
  • Demonstrable experience of working both individually and collaborating effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with the ability to build internal relationships
  • High level of computer literacy, picking up new systems or applications swiftly
