Salary: £22,569 - £26,444 (Grade 5)

As Science Education Support Technician you will provide technical and educational support to all aspects of the Post 16 science and wider co-curricular and Change Maker programs offered at UWC Atlantic with a particular focus on supporting biology, environmental systems as IB subjects whilst playing a key role in the development of environmental education as part of the wider curriculum.

You will have a recognised Level 4+ qualification in biology, environmental sciences or significant professional experience within these areas, experience of managing and organising laboratory equipment along with practical experience of environmental science and ecology. 

Good health and safety knowledge and ability to prepare risk assessment, identifying hazards, excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to communicate at all levels to simplify complex issues and concepts is essential.
