FULL TIME TEACHER OF SCIENCE/IT 

Required from January 2020

Fixed term contract until 31st August, 2020, pending staffing review

We wish to appoint a well–qualified, energetic and enthusiastic teacher to join the forward-thinking Science and IT departments.

Both curriculum areas are committed to achieving the highest possible standards for our students. We strive to prepare them for all of the STEM opportunities that will be open to them in their future lives. 

Applications are invited from a teacher who has a passion for all the sciences as well as a commitment to classroom teaching of the highest possible standard. The ability to teach Chemistry would be beneficial.

At SBL Academy we are fortunate to have extensive access to up-to-date ICT facilities with excellent technician support in both the Science and IT departments.

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent qualifications and subject knowledge

• Have a natural passion and enthusiasm for Science and IT

• Encourage, motivate and inspire students

• Have good organisational and communication skills

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner
