Local government pay scale for support staff: Point 12 - 15 (£20,345 - £21,590) pro rata, term-time only plus 2 weeks.

Salary is entirely dependent on experience, qualifications and skillsets.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Lab Technician with a proven track record of success in organising and supporting a Secondary School Science department. We want to hear from applicants that have experience in this role whilst also wanting to discuss opportunities with applicants that have an interest in developing into this role.

To support core science across the school, the successful candidate will need to be well organised, confident and also be approachable and responsive to enquiries from both staff and students. Good communication skills, the ability to work independently and work well as part of a team are essential. This position is an extremely valued role within our school and plays a pivotal part in the support function provided to our teaching staff and students. Previous experience of working in a science environment would be desirable.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead others drawing on your experience.
