Cadbury Sixth Form College invites applications from enthusiastic candidates for the post of Science Laboratory Technician.
This is a permanent post available from 30th August 2017. It is being offered on a full time basis, 36.5 hours per week, during term-time only (39 weeks).
The college has a large science faculty teaching 16-19 year old students studying A level, BTEC and GCSE courses. It is run by eight teaching staff supported by three technicians. The technicians work as a team in three areas namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology and the newly appointed technician will join this multi-disciplinary team. There are six science laboratories plus an additional science lecture demonstration theatre. Physics, Biology and Chemistry share a common preparation area.

The successful applicant will be appointed to SFCA Support Staff Grade 4 (Points 22-25), paid pro rata for term time working, giving an actual salary range of £15,535 to £17,184 pa.
