Are you an inspirational Science teacher looking for an opportunity to progress your career in a fast improving school in an exciting phase in its development?

The Science Progress Leader will be a successful teacher who is able to enthuse, motivate and inspire children, generating a love for learning. They will be responsible for supporting the Head of Science to ensure that the highest standards and outcomes for all students are achieved. You will also have the skills to contribute to the development of the department.

The Academy is at a very exciting phase in its development. New Leadership last academic year brought new opportunities for all. The academy realised ‘substantial’ improvements to progress in the 2015 GCSE outcomes and these improvements placed us as the fourth most improved school in the City. The recent Inspection report noted students’ ‘positive attitudes to learning’ and described the school as ‘a calm, positive place to be.’

During this term, MCMA will be joining the Co-operative Academies Trust. The Trust already has seven successful academies in Leeds, Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent and is ideally placed to support the academy as it continues to drive forward on its journey to excellence.
