Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Science teacher to join a vibrant and multicultural Science department in a “Good” secondary school in Tower Hamlets (E3). The school welcomes applications from Science teachers with either a Physics or Chemistry specialism. The successful Science Teacher will be required to immerse themselves into the life of the school community and teach from KS3 up to KS5. This full time position starts in March 2017, and there may be an opportunity for a permanent contract to be offered from September 2017.

In order to be considered for this role, the Science Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Physics or Chemistry specialism
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply?
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
