Values and vision

President Kennedy School is committed to “Building Brighter Futures”, and everything the school does is focused on doing just that for the students and community. The school has a “no barriers” ethos, meaning pupils of all different backgrounds and abilities are all encouraged to work hard to achieve the highest goals they can set themselves.

The school's core values centre around the students, putting them first, focusing on learning, and overcoming any barriers that may stand in front of them. It endeavours to achieve its aims by encouraging a caring, fair, and professional environment where each and every student is equally valued, and a high level of academic achievement where students respect each other and take pride in themselves and the school.

Ofsted

Achieving "Outstanding" in all areas in July 2013 and again in December 2023, the school is proud of all that Kennedy graduates and staff achieve. They embody this ambition wholeheartedly. Pupils are proud and happy to be a part of this inclusive and diverse school where they excel both academically and personally.  The caring nature and positive relationships between pupils of all ages, and staff, is what makes this school such a special place to be."
