We’re excited to be recruiting for Science teachers with specialisms in Biology or Physics for our residential Summer Courses for students aged 10-17 years which provide opportunities for students to study a full English or Science programme with the addition of a wide range of sporting and social activities.
Our courses are full time and run from June until the end of August this summer. We offer a beautiful location to spend your days with friendly and committed staff here at Concord College, not to forget the opportunity to earn something extra during your Summer break.

Courses (including staff induction) run from 29th June to 27th July and 28th July – 20th August. Teachers are supported by an experienced academic management team and benefit from regular in-service training workshops. All classrooms have subject specific laboratory equipment, interactive whiteboards and PCs with internet access and a comprehensive library of up-to-date teaching resources and equipment is available. WiFi is enabled throughout the campus.
Essentials & Desirables
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as the College does not apply for work permits, visas or offer sponsorship to those applying from outside Europe.
Applicants for the role of Science teachers should hold a good quality degree in their chosen subject and a PGCE is desirable. It is also desirable that candidates have at least one year’s teaching experience. Experienced or Masters qualified teachers may be considered for a more senior position.
