Job overview
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive, well-resourced department, within this high performing school. Science is taught as discrete subjects at Richard Hale and the ability to teach two subjects to Key Stage 4 would be an advantage.
The post is suitable for newly qualified or experienced teachers. We have a good induction programme for all new staff and we offer NQTs the chance to join us as a salaried teacher in the summer term. A September start is also available.
Located in the centre of the county town of Hertford, it is an oversubscribed, 11-18, boys’ school with a large co-educational Sixth Form. It has an impressive reputation for achievement both academically and in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
The school is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All postholders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service). As part of our commitment to staff well-being, free gym membership is on offer to the successful candidate.
Please contact Karen Dart, PA to the Headmaster, (karen.dart@richardhale.co.uk), for an application pack. The application form, together with a personal statement, on no more than two sides of A4, outlining the skills and abilities you could bring to the post, should be emailed to Karen Dart.
Closing date for applications is Friday 6th May 2016 but please note we reserve the right to close this vacancy early should sufficient applications be received so early application is essential.
