Le Rocquier School is offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to teach Science within our forward-thinking Science Faculty. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, driven and passionate Science specialist to become part of a tight team within the faculty.

Jersey Teacher pay scales reward above those in the UK (please see the pdf document) and a full relocation package is available to relocate from the UK.

Opened in 2006, Le Rocquier School is a successful and flourishing co-educational, non-denominational 11-16 School in the Bailiwick of Jersey with outstanding facilities. The island of Jersey is a crown dependency of the United Kingdom, and situated in the English Channel. There are approximately 800 students on the school roll, along with 60 teaching staff and 50 support staff. Our inclusive school is located in the Saint Clement parish, which is located on the island’s southern coast and has a population of around 10,000.

In 2022 80% of our GCSE subjects added value at GCSE.  Maths, English, Science and many, many others all exceeded expectation (adding value).

In our community we challenge ourselves and each other to be the best we can through our 'Vision in Action' strategies and our rewards system.  We nurture individuality and creativity through inspirational and challenging teaching, high expectations and aspirational goals.  Our school belongs to all of our community through our shared aspiration to develop individuals who are prepared and equipped to contribute to society in a positive and sustainable way, wherever in the world that is.
