The Priory Lodge School is an independent co-educational, purpose built day school in South West London for young people aged 5 to 19 with mild to moderate autism, Asperger’s syndrome and associated learning difficulties.


It is our intention that every pupil will achieve their full potential in both academic and personal development, take up new challenging goals and work hard to achieve them.


As a day school we provide an alternative to residential education which supports pupils to develop independence and social skills whilst living in their home environment. The Priory Lodge School enables pupils to become successful learners, responsible citizens and confident individuals.


We have a vacancy for a full time Science Teacher with QTS.


Successful candidates will have sound subject knowledge, and familiarisation with national qualifications and exam boards. .


You will be experienced at taking the lead in your subject area, be able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multi-disciplinary classroom team and have clear ideas of how to achieve exceptional progress for our pupils. 


Experience of teaching in a SEN background is preferred but the candidate will be required to have knowledge of Autism including Autism specific strategies to enhance the learning experience of our pupils to ensure pupils fulfil their potential.
