Job overview

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher in our Middle & High School Division to join ACS International School Doha, Qatar. The suitable candidate must have a strong background in teaching MYP/DP preferrably in Biology.

 

Reporting to: Middle/High School Principal

 

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field
  • Teaching Qualification- PGCE/BEd or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in an international school (IB,DP and MYP)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of MYP and IB curricula and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment

Responsibilities  

  • Use conceptual based learning and differentiated lessons in the delivery of MYP/DP Science curriculum.
  • Foster a deep understanding of mathematical
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic growth.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom management that encourages active participation.
  • Offer guidance and support to students in their internal assessment.
  • Assist in coordination and implementation of IB related activities.
