Science Teacher

Newlands College, a co-educational Year 9-13 state secondary school requires an exceptional Science teacher to join their team in Term 1 (late January), 2018.
Candidates who teach Physics to senior levels would be preferred although we welcome expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates teaching alternative science subjects to senior levels.

The school is based within the northern Wellington suburb of Newlands, which is nestled up in the hills and enjoys fine views over the beautiful Wellington harbour.  Transport into the central city is easy and fast and there are many accommodation options on the College’s doorstep.

Wellington is a small city, with an approximate population of 400,000, and famed for its Victorian architecture clinging to the hills surrounding an appealing waterfront.  The centre city is busy with arts, culture and a vibrant café and craft-beer scene.
