The successful applicant will be part of a team that has a variety of specialised teachers, all offering support and guidance to each other, which creates a positive and hardworking ethos. They are eager to access the most up to date research and always go above and beyond to ensure all students meet their potential.

Applicants are required to be driven, motivated and enthusiastic to deliver Science up to KS4.

The school are passionate about providing a traditional curriculum which not only develops life skills but prepares each student for adulthood and a successful career.

Students in the academy show a real enthusiasm for science and are acutely aware of the link between the subject and the world of work.

About the Academy

This is an oversubscribed ‘outstanding’ academy located in an affluent area of North East Lincolnshire. As well as being an Ofsted graded outstanding academy, they achieved ‘World Class Schools’ status in December 2019 and re-accredited in 2022. The school continues to deliver incredible opportunities to young people with a specific focus on STEM enrichment and favourable links to the apprenticeships industry as well as traditional route towards higher education.

The school has also been appointed as the Teaching School Hub for the local region which will allow all colleagues to access leading edge career professional development in order to enhance the standard of teaching as well as the opportunity to deliver CPD to colleagues locally.

The school are committed to equality, inclusion and diversity. They were incredibly proud to have been awarded the Rainbow Flag award in 2022. In addition to this the academy prides itself on sharing important environmental values with all stakeholders. This has allowed them to achieve Eco School Status in 2021.   • A good degree in a specialist subject teaching qualification
