Job overview

As a valued member of the Science department, you will be responsible for the teaching and learning of students at one of the Trust’s secondary academies, which include Bluecoat Aspley Academy, Bluecoat Wollaton Academy, Bluecoat Beechdale Academy and the Nottingham Emmanuel School. 

As a Trust, we look to work collaboratively and share knowledge, skills and expertise across all our academies. Although predominantly based at one of our academies, which will be discussed further at interview, there may be the requirement for you to work across campuses to meet the needs of the Trust and best service our growing number of young people across the region.

The post offers opportunities for continued professional development and provides an excellent platform for further career development into leadership and management. The post would suit an experienced or newly qualified teacher and the successful candidate will be an integral part of the department and can expect the support needed to develop their career.

Archway Learning Trust, previously Bluecoat Academies Trust, was formed in April 2014 as a result of the very long and successful history of Bluecoat Academy. We are based in the heart of the city of Nottingham, providing high quality learning experiences for students from the ages of 3 – 18.

With the success of Bluecoat Primary and the development of our primary offer, Archway has been asked to support and work in partnership with a number of primaries across the region.
