Science Teacher - Physics (August 2024)

For August 2024, we are looking for a dynamic Science Teacher with experience teaching Physics who is committed to the holistic growth of pupils. Staff are well supported by subject coordinators, a student engagement department and teachers of specialist subjects.

Interested candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

Post Profile

● Hold a teaching degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related area) or a related field (significant professional experience in this area will also be considered);

● Have at least one year of experience of teaching the IB Middle Years or IB Diploma Program;

● Have at least two years of prior teaching experience.;

● Demonstrate excellent classroom practice that promotes inquiry-based learning;

● Command a wide range of digital tools for teaching, communicating and data

collecting;

● Possess excellent communication skills, spoken and written;

● Possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills;

● Demonstrate a growth mind-set and positive drive;

● Some knowledge of Spanish would be advantageous.

Contract

● An initial two-year contract with flights to and from country of origin for appointee and

close family;

● A salary paid in American dollars which is highly competitive for Latin America;
