We are seeking a committed and aspirational Physics teacher to join our Science team who will embrace our ethos, contribute to school improvement plans and raising standards in Science, work hard to help students make good progress and spread a passion for Science and promote STEM career pathways.
Applications are welcome from newly qualified teachers, as well as those wanting to broaden their experience.
The successful candidate will be a physics specialist but may teach general science, too. They will be able to inspire, enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students to raise achievement at all levels within a school culture of high performance and expectations of both staff and students.
We expect successful candidates to show within their application, and at interview, their passion for working with young people and be able to explain how they will embrace and support the school’s ethos.
We are a Roman Catholic comprehensive girls’ school which admits boys Post-16. We value our Catholic ethos, but you don’t need to be a Catholic to apply to work for Notre Dame. We ask that our staff support our ethos and Christian attitudes.
If you feel you have the qualities we are looking for, please speak to Mrs Samantha Bailey, HR Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information, or to arrange an informal tour of the school.
Applications should be submitted via the TES website by the closing date of 23:59 on Sunday 23rd June 2019.
The school operates a Safeguarding Children Recruitment Policy and is committed to promoting the welfare of young people. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
