Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Science Teacher / Physics Teacher to join a “Good” secondary school in Barking and Dagenham. This large secondary school has an outstanding track record in producing high achieving students and delivering excellent exam results. This Science Teacher / Physics Teacher will be working with a new Headteacher who has dramatically increased results and is currently striving to be the chosen school in its situated area. There is potential for this school to look at other Science specialisms for the right candidate.

In order to be considered for this role, the Science Teacher / Physics Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
  • Have proven experience teaching the UK, or equivalent, curriculum
