Smart Teachers is recruiting for a qualified Science Teacher to join a selective grammar school in Reading, Berkshire. The role will involve teaching Physics and / or Chemistry to boys aged 11-18. The school has an impressive academic record and offers a well rounded and broad curriculum to both day and boarding students. Steeped in history, the school is located in a beautiful setting and is very well resourced. The successful Science Teacher will be able to teach either Physics or Chemistry to A Level, and the second subject up to GCSE Level. The role is for one term initially, however could be extended for the whole academic year for the right candidate.

In order to be considered for this role, the Science Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree

• Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
