Smart Teachers is recruiting for a conscientious Science Teacher to join a ’Good’ School in Richmond, South West London for an immediate start. The school provides a welcoming safe environment, with friendly and supportive staff along with onsite parking. The successful Science Teacher will join the school as soon as possible and will be contracted until the end of the academic year, July 2017. There is also a strong possibility that the Science Teacher will be offered a permanent role at the end of the academic year.

In order to be considered for this role, the Science Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Currently be holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) or eligible to obtain
  • Have recent proven experience teaching in a UK-based classroom
  • NQT, experienced UK and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent UK classroom-based references (or similar curriculum references) and valid DBS/police checks
