Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and lively applicant with the ability to help deliver the Science curriculum at Key Stage 2 and 3. The ability to offer Maths at Key Stage 2 and 3 would be an advantage. This is a full-time role.

The successful candidate will be an excellent scientist, ideally able to offer strength in the three sciences but with a particular specialism and interest in Physics and the ability to offer Maths at Key Stage 2 and 3.  This is a role that could suit either an NQT, an experienced teacher or a strong graduate, eager to pursue a career in teaching and take an in-service PGCE. The candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of giving effective and inspiring direction to their pupils and building on the Department’s excellent record of success at Common Entrance and Scholarship level in recent years. An ability to coach Games would be an advantage. There may also be an opportunity to work in the boarding house.

Pay and conditions

An attractive salary will be determined in accordance with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The school offers reduced fees for children of staff at Highfield and Brookham, the Pre-Prep School.
