Sutherland House School is a non-maintained special school for autistic children and young people aged 3-19. We have an amazing new science lab with excellent facilities located in the heart of the Creative Quarter in the City Centre.
Full Time Teacher required to lead Science
Salary: M3 £32126 to U3 £39,406 per annum
Plus SEN allowance of £2149 to £4242 depending on experience. Potential for TLR allowance
As part of a supportive staff team, you will have a passion for improving the life chances for autistic students and their families; you will have a commitment to planning, delivering and assessing engaging, differentiated lessons and you will engage with a wide range of professionals including therapists and psychologists to ensure all students are reaching their full potential.
Sutherland House school prides itself in creating personalised learning opportunities with a vision for reaching potential for each individual pupil. We offer small Class groups, favourable staffing levels and excellent opportunities for training and professional development.
