Appleford School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable, dynamic and inspirational Science Teacher. This applicant will deliver Science across the school in a way that makes the work accessible to dyslexic pupils and allows them to perform to their full potential. The successful applicant will be joining a strong and supportive department which delivers Science from year 7 to year 11, with it being an option at KS4.
A specialism in Physics is desirable but not essential and experience of teaching BTec would be advantageous.

Appleford is a highly successful co-educational day and boarding school for pupils from 7 to 18 years, set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside in the village of Shrewton, just off the A303. Appleford has small classes of up to 10 pupils and an ethos based on developing confidence, celebrating success and continuous support. More importantly, we instil a belief in our children that dyslexia is no barrier to learning and we expect them to do well.
