We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational teacher of Science. The successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher joining a strong and supportive department which delivers science to GCSE level.
Appleford welcomes applications from both NQTs or an experienced teacher.
Appleford is a highly successful co-educational day and boarding school for pupils from 7 to 18 years, set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside in the village of Shrewton, just off the A303. Rated ‘Excellent’ by ISI in all categories, the school has been providing the highest quality teaching for pupils with dyslexia for over 25 years.
Appleford has small classes of up to 9 pupils and an ethos based on developing confidence, celebrating success and continuous support. More importantly, we instill a belief in our children that dyslexia is no barrier to learning and we expect them to do well.
Involvement in extra-curricular activites is an integral part of life at this outstanding school.
Experience of working with SpLD pupils an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
