SCIENCE TECHNICIAN (Part-time, Term-time)
26 hours per week for 35 weeks of the year
An experienced technician, or science graduate, is required from September 2017, to help support the practical needs of the Science department. The post calls for a highly organised and adaptable person who can work independently, using their own initiative to set up standard equipment for demonstrations and carry out simple running repairs on small pieces of apparatus, amongst other duties. The role will be predominantly based in the Physics Department, but the postholder will be required to support in other science areas as required.
The actual salary for this part-time, term time post will be £13,758 per annum.
