Term time only

We are looking for a Science Technician. You will be working 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (excluding 30-minute lunch); full time, term time only. You will:

  • Prepare all materials and equipment required for Science lessons under the direction of the Senior Science Technician.
  • Set up and test demonstration experiments and ensure that they work satisfactorily.
  • Maintain, clean and repair equipment to ensure it is in good working order, carrying out repairs under the expertise and training of the Senior Science Technician.
  • Work to CLEAPPS guidelines in all matters relating to risk assessments and Health & Safety.

Founded in 1964, Hall Green began as a foundation school administered by Birmingham City Council. It converted to academy status in September 2012 but often coordinates with Birmingham City Council for admissions.
