Bridgwater College Academy is an independent but wholly Government funded school for 3 to 16 year olds in Bridgwater.
15 hours per week
40 weeks per year (term-time, plus two further weeks)
Actual Salary: £5,820 to £6,272 per annum
We are looking for a Science Technician to join our successful science team in our Secondary Phase. You will be required to provide technical support to the science department, ensuring appropriate equipment and resources are available to support learning in a safe working environment. You will also be expected to provide classroom support during lessons.
You will need to have good communication skills, with the ability to relate well to young people and have a passion for science.
You will preferably be educated to A-level or equivalent standard in a science related subject and ideally you should have experience of working in an education setting.
