Trinity Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and organised Science Technician to join our growing Science Department.

This is a unique opportunity to join a new school which opened in Sept 2019. You will play a key role in establishing a safe, orderly and high-performing Science Department. The successful candidate will be in charge of preparation, maintenance and storage of all apparatus, equipment and materials used in our laboratories. He or she will also be responsible for managing department orders and ensuring a safe working environment in accordance with CLEAPSS guidelines. There will also be opportunities for the successful candidate to work with, and be supported by, other technicians within the Trust and to access high-quality training.

The successful candidate will have a positive and productive outlook with a high level of initiative and competency. He or she will also have a clear understanding of the expectations of the role, together with an appreciation and awareness of the needs of a growing department. The successful candidate should have excellent IT skills, be well organised, have a professional approach to work and be able to prioritise workloads to meet critical deadlines.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the creation of a new school and make a major contribution to the school’s success.
