Science Technician

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and committed technician to play a key role in our ambitious Science Department. Your main responsibilities will be to manage the preparation and cleaning of equipment for practical lessons, manage a fully-stocked prep room, including the maintenance and monitoring of equipment and resources and to keep the departmental Risk Assessments up-to-date.

To be successful, you will have a love of Science, preferably with experience as a laboratory technician, knowledge of the use of laboratory apparatus and procedures and a responsible and conscientious approach to Health and Safety. 

You will be able to work independently and to prioritise your work effectively, whilst also working closely with colleagues in a flexible, dynamic environment.

Hours of Work: 08:15am to 10:45am, Monday to Friday, term time only.
