Required from November 2021

Our experienced, welcoming, and successful Science department require a Senior Science Technician and a Science Technician to organise and manage the preparation of materials, across 2 prep rooms, for Science lessons at KS3 & KS4.  Working under the instruction of the Director of Science your role will include management responsibilities for other technicians (senior role), stock taking, ordering equipment and materials and maintaining (and where possible, repairing) equipment.  From time to time you may be required to support staff and students with the safe use of relevant materials and equipment.

We are looking for someone with the relevant experience and is an energetic enthusiastic team player who is able to use their initiative to solve problems as they arise.

Based in West Yorkshire, Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School is a mainstream secondary school for girls and boys aged between 11 and 16. It is a voluntary aided establishment. Its denomination is Roman Catholic. It is based in the town of Meanwood in Leeds. At present, there are currently approximately 918 students enrolled at the school.
