37 working term weeks + 4 weeks including INSET

London Academy of Excellence Stratford (LAE) is seeking to recruit an outstanding individual to join this ambitious, selective sixth form. LAE is an outstanding, heavily oversubscribed school located in the heart of Stratford, close to the Olympic Park and just two minutes from Stratford Station (zone 2/3), with excellent links to all parts of London.

The role

The role is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing Science department. You will provide laboratory and technical support for science teaching. Ensuring the science team is resourced, organised and developed to meet the performance standards required by the department. The post holder will be responsible for guidance and support in meeting the practical requirements of the science curriculum, including liaising with all areas of the school, and outside agencies.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Health and Safety and First Aid. Full training will be provided.
