The Science department is led by an experienced Curriculum Leader, with the support of three Subject Leaders for Biology, Chemistry and Physics as well as a KS3 lead. The Science Technician team comprises three members who work closely with each other and the teaching staff in a pleasant work space with modern facilities. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply their particular subject knowledge to support at KS4 and KS5 and cover all sciences at KS3. All teachers use the same lesson resources at KS3 to ensure a consistent experience for students and streamline the requests made of the technician team. Our requisitions process is completed electronically using customised software to make the most efficient use of all of our time.

It is important to note that any suitable candidate will need to be both an experienced and qualified Science Technician with an in depth knowledge of Chemistry. In addition, the ability to manage a small team of Science Technicians would be advantageous for this role. 

Salary is dependent on experience, 40 weeks: Term Time Only + 1 week
