Reports to: Head of Science
Grade: KR 5
FTE Salary: £18,014 (actual salary £7,395)
Working time: 18 hours per week (term time + one week)
Working pattern to be agreed but ideally spread over minimum of 3 days each week
Place of Work: Bennett Memorial Diocesan School, Tunbridge Wells
Opportunities to work across other schools within the Trust may become available
Start date: 04 June 2018
Purpose of Role:
Under the overall control of the Head of Science, you will be required to prepare lessons to an A level standard; to co-ordinate the use of practical resources and facilities, and to provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum, including liaising with the teaching staff, and other support staff outside the department. The Department has 10 well-resourced Laboratories, each with an interactive white board. KS3 is taught to years 7, 8 and 9. KS4 to years 9, 10 & 11
