£30 per hour.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Science tutor to work alongside our Science department with students who may be falling behind in lessons, or need to be pushed to go the extra mile. You will lead small group sessions to tutor GCSE and A-Level Science. Hours are negotiable, but a commitment to at least 10 hours per week is required.
You do not necessarily need to be a qualified teacher although that would be an advantage. You must however have a good degree in Science, outstanding subject knowledge, and above all the ability to engage and inspire young people. This role would be ideal for a recent Science graduate who is considering a career in teaching, or an experienced workforce returner.

North Kesteven Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Lincolnshire, serving students from the age of 11-18. The Academy is situated in Lincoln.
North Kesteven Academy was founded in 1961 as a grammar school. In 2015 the Academy school was identified as good by Ofsted. It converted to academy status in 2011.
