We are looking to recruit teachers to an approved tutor pool. Applicants are invited to propose short courses (day, evening or weekend) to contribute to our expanding science programme, in the areas of biology, chemistry, geology, marine science and history of science. Our non-accredited courses seek to present current thinking about scientific topics in ways suitable for a general audience. Courses will be programmed from April 2018 onwards.
Based in Covent Garden, City Lit is London's largest provider of learning for adults, inspiring over 30,000 students a year. If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are able to work as part of a team and have an up to date knowledge, enthusiasm and interest in the subject; this roles could be for you. A commitment to quality, health and safety, equality and diversity, customer care and safeguarding are also essential.
In this role you will be responsible for planning, teaching and evaluating courses that meet the learning needs of students in the programme area.
