Fixed term for 2 years from 1st September 2024.
Wildern Multi Academy Trust and i2i Teaching Partnership are looking to appoint an experienced teacher to join the SCITT as a SCITT Centre Director. This role is an exciting opportunity to deliver weekly training to our cohort of trainee teachers, as well as observe and monitor their progress in the classroom. You will be working with an established team across four other local Centres, as part of our outstanding provision. We require someone who is able to work, to think and work strategically, have confidence to take the lead, develop and build positive relationships and oversea administration. The successful candidate will:
● Be expert and an experienced teacher
● Have leadership experience (desirable not essential)
● Have the ability to think and work strategically
● Have knowledge and experience of up to date ITT provision/programmes
● Understand and act quickly and effectively in new and complex situations
● Be receptive and open to new ideas and feedback; adapts to how they work
● Handle pressure effectively
● Have confidence to take the lead
● Be determined, resilient and prepared to take tough decisions
● Have natural enthusiasm and positive outlook
● Have credible interpersonal skills with people at all levels of the organisation
