Garth Hill College has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Second i/c Design and Technology with a key stage responsibility. A STEM leadership role, as an additional responsibility, is available for the suitable candidate. Our department offers whole cohort subjects with different specialist areas including timbers, metals, paper and board, textiles and food and nutrition.
We have excellent resources including a large range of traditional and CAD/CAM facilities. We are looking for a talented, dynamic and innovative practitioner and we can be flexible with your specialism.
Our Green Power student team is pushing for tenth place nationally and made it to the 17-18 final competing against teams from the UK and around the globe. This dynamic Technology Department works closely with a number of national companies in the local area including 3M and General Electric. We run several after school clubs.
