Ashmole Academy Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school.
Ashmole Academy has a forward looking and innovative approach to all areas of school life and demand high standards of achievement. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from Governors and Parents and a dedicated and highly motivated team of staff. We currently have approximately 1600 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 330. Our examination results are consistently outstanding and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year.
Required for September 2019 an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to support the Head of Art in the management and leadership of Art within the arts faculty. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success with the ability to motivate, inspire and promote art within the school.
Art is a major strength of Ashmole Academy and the Art department has consistently achieved above national averages at GCSE and A level. The students are encouraged to enter local and national exhibitions and this is celebrated in the wider community. Many students who choose to study Art A level are successful applicants at art schools of high repute
