We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and committed classroom practitioner to the post of Second-in-Charge of English.

The main aspects of the role will include the day-to-day leadership and management in the department, working closely with the members of the English Leadership Team including the other second-in-charge of English (there are two second-in-charge posts in our English department). The successfully appointed person will be a key support for the Head of Faculty/Subject Lead, deputising in their absence as required.

The successful candidate will have a track record for securing strong outcomes for learners. The appointed person will be adept at translating their own high expectations and professional standards to others through their daily practice.
