An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding leader to develop a forward looking department at Copley Academy.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the head of department to lead and develop a team of experienced colleagues.  There will also be adequate opportunity to grow as a leader and manager in a way that will equip the post holder for further progression.

• Is able to motivate and inspire students to raise attainment across all    ability ranges? 

• Is able to use excellent subject knowledge to achieve results? 

• Has excellent communication/teamwork skills and the desire to lead the training of colleagues? 

The primary purpose of the role is to deliver exceptional progress and attainment for all pupils and to further close the gap for Pupil Premium students.
